The IFS Food standard is internationally recognised and is designed to ensure that certified companies can offer products that conform to local and international regulations and specific requirements to ensure the safety and quality for the consumer.
The FSSC 22000 provides a framework for effectively managing the organisation’s food and beverage safety responsibilities. It is fully recognised by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) and is based on existing ISO Standards. It demonstrates that the company has a robust Food Safety Management System in place that meets the requirements of its customers.
Το The ISO 9001: 2008 specifies requirements for a quality management system where an organisation is required to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide product that meets customer and the legal and regulatory requirements through the effective implementation and continuous improvement of the system.
The ISO 22000: 2005 specifies requirements for a safety management system where an organisation is called on to demonstrate its ability to control safety hazards in order to ensure that food is safe at the time of human consumption.
